Avoid preheating to "High" and stick to a preheating range of "Medium Low" to "Medium" for optimal results to prevent burning cooking oil onto the surface, which can be difficult to remove later.

To prevent the griddle from warping, avoid using large quantities of frozen food on a hot griddle as extreme temperature changes can cause warping. Be cautious of preheating too much, especially when cooking frozen foods, and heat the griddle slowly with the burner to prevent thermal shock and cracking. Ensure the temperature does not exceed 400 degrees, or 350 degrees if the griddle is made of Teflon.

When cleaning, wait for the griddle to cool down completely before washing it with warm water to avoid warping. Use the right size burner to prevent uneven heating and warping due to concentrated high power burners. In case of slight warping, allow the griddle to cool and recover naturally; if not, slowly heat it again and let it cool gradually.
